CARCHAROTH is a Spanish Pagan Black Metal band. The lyrics talks about ancient times when the pagan way of life made people lived in deep connection with the nature, respecting the deep valour that it has and defending them and their land. The band born in the winter of 2002 as a band formed with only two members (LORD NAUSEA y DENETHOR).

At the early 2003 the first songs are composed, but it was not until ends of the same year when, after knowing HERMOD , they could record them.. Thanks to his help and after passing to form a part of the formation of the band the songs were being completed.

In May of 2004 the recording of the first demo “MY FATHER WAS A WOLF” finished and the North American label Battle Hymn Records edited this demo on tape with pro-cover. In summer of 2006 JARLETH joined the band and closed the actual formation. During the summer of this year CARCHAROTH composed new song for a future album. 2007 is the year when the band began to record the new songs for their CD. At the end of June, near the Shamhain night, “DESOLATED BATTLEFIELDS” was finally recorded. Six songs which runs 35 minutes of pure Pagan Black Metal.
